ERIN RAMIREZ

actor | singer | dancer

Erin Ramirez is an actor, singer, and dancer based in New York City. As an army brat, she grew up pursuing her love for theatre, pop music and contemporary dance styles in over 12 different locations around the globe.  After her stage debut in Monterey, CA at 2-years-old, Erin performed in community theatre on Army bases in both Darmstadt and Garmisch, Germany.  In 2010, her family lived in Tbilisi, Georgia, where she played the title role in an internationally-cast production of Cinderella.  When she moved back to the United States that same year, she played Maria in a community production West Side Story, and it was then that she realized musical theatre was the perfect combination of her three passions.

Erin has since received her BFA in Musical Theatre Emerson College in Boston and has been featured in Emerson Stage productions including Guys and Dolls, The World Goes 'Round, and Carousel. During her time at Emerson, she also began writing original music, some of which she sang in her own pop cabaret Soft Pieces in December 2016.

The summer of 2016, Erin performed at Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre in Grand Lake, Colorado, as a featured dancer and vocalist in Rock of Ages, Titanic, and The Little Mermaid.  Her 2017 was fittingly spent singing and dancing all over the world aboard Rhapsody of the Seas with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. She was featured as a lead in Pure CountryBallroom Fever, and Piano Man.

Since planting her feet in Manhattan in January 2018, she has been a part of ACT of Connecticut's inaugural production, Mamma Mia!, music directed by Bryan Perri. Erin became a member of Actors Equity playing Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray at KC Starlight, an 8,000-seat outdoor venue. She completed a sold out run of Jersey Boys at the Ogunquit Playhouse as Francine/Lead Angel and then starred in Spamilton at Pittsburgh CLO later that summer.

In the fall of 2019, Erin made her touring debut in the company of Les Misérables as Ensemble u/s Éponine in the US National Tour. Since theatre's reopening in 2021, she has participate in workshops of new musicals such as Rio Uphill, What Happened in Key West, Americano!, and Romy & Michele: The Musical.
